California law (AB 670) significantly limits HOA ability to block ADUs. We review your CC&Rs and advise on what's required. In most cases, HOA restrictions cannot prevent a code-compliant ADU.

Deepak Sharma didn't find his way into construction — he was built for it. In his early twenties, he earned his NCCER certification and got his hands dirty learning the trades from the ground up. That foundation led to building and operating a tenant outfit business serving the restaurant industry, which he ran for four years and sold at a profit. He then flipped multiple commercial AND residential properties, maximizing build allowances and exiting each one with strong returns — developing a sharp instinct for when and where to build, and how to make a project pencil out.
And the industry runs in his family. With two uncles who are licensed general contractors and developers — each with over 30 years of experience — and a family background deeply rooted in construction, Deepak grew up understanding the industry from every angle. Not just how to build, but how to invest, develop, and create long term value. That's the foundation Mantra Builders stands on.
